really troubling to me i that I can't figure out how global inflation will be contained when
the dollar printing presses are working overtime.


I've been pondering the same question for lo these many months. Is there no mechanism for keeping countries and their governments "honest". Without a standard (?gold), can they all print and inflate at will, so long as they all play the same game?

Perpaps they have discovered the financial and economic equivalent of the perpetual motion machine.
