Let me see if I understand the NRID news correctly:

NRID has issued a press release on a "notice of intent" to sign a licensing agreement (in 30 days) with a hardware company that itself has nothing sold. No wonder that stock has skyrocketed to almost a dollar a share! It's almost, almost a vaporware deal! Certainly time to issue a press release.

More seriously, I give credit to NRID on how it is playing its hand here. True, there's almost nothing in the hand to play with from a financial or commercial sense, but they are taking the only strategic chance they have, and once in a thousand years you can draw a royal straight flush holding only a couple of high cards. How else is a going-bankrupt company supposed to hit it big, but by bluffing Microsoft and new investors?

And, it's true, Jaffo and the rest deserve something for all those months of watching the stock price dwindle to the price of a newspaper.

Brad,

I posted this link on the NRID thread, wondering if HAAPI might be involved. I did't find any referance to either, but you never know.

This link shows both NEC and Fujitsu so IDX might have a small piece, might not.
