jon, ameritrade is so much better than other deep discounters, and they can sustain their prices because they do their own clearing. also they avoid the dealing in the very risky instruments. keeps them and you out of trouble. none of us, for example, should be trading futures!

Then again, I'm hanging off a T1. If you're dialing in (even at 56k), I could see how it might be aggravating. I actually like the bigger fonts. More readable for those of us with fading vision. It's great being middle-aged. Your eyesight is fading, body parts are starting to fall off and your middle is expanding, but you can still pretend everything's just like it was at 21.
