The burden of proof is not on Chauvin to prove his innocence in a fair trial. The burden of proof is on the state to show that the death occurred as a result of Chauvin's actions. That, I do not believe, is possible when the autopsy didn’t find that. So, if you want a righteous outcome to the trial a guilty verdict simply isn’t an option.

A guilty outcome cannot be based on the notion that is is extremely likely Chauvin killed him. It must be based on a “beyond reasonable doubt” standard and that is not a possible outcome in a fair trial with the evidence we know of at this point.

I get it. It isn’t the outcome you want to see. But you cannot get there, by definition, unless you can shout the autopsy result is clearly wrong.
