What irony: The worlds religions are supposed to be the moral authority, yet they are the only one's left who are sexist and homophobic. How does that make sense? In fact we have laws against both. Yes, this Counter Culture revolution started with us in the 60's, which was the first massive movement to replace myth with science, and upgrade our norms and mores which were centuries old, as we realized they made no sense. Spare the rod spoil the child type of nonsense. And that was the simple thesis of the 60's, telling the straight world that their ideas were old and simple and bad ideas, racism, sexism, homophobia and patriarchy's; and strict adherence to old age traditions that impeded a persons happiness and personal development like being forced to adhere to some culture you did not agree with, like all the ultra orthodox religions and cultures. It was a crude and rough beginning we had because it was all brand new and we had no idea where it was going and what was even real, but it worked, racism, sexism and homophobia are on the wane and we are on our way. Now the entire world is involved in this counter culture revolution and it is being led by the women, in every country in the world. Women are realizing they have the right to their lives and if they don't speak up, others will order them around as they have been doing forever. Many feel they just need to leave it all behind and start fresh based on what they want. And the internet allows them to network and support each other. In every country the women seem to be taking the lead in establishing justice and humanity and they are talking about it with each other. Women know how to network. It is harsh, but the myths must die for the rest of us to move forward to be better tomorrow.
