Yes, that's close enough. The Feds don't bring charges if there is no injury.


That is not how we do it in the US.


You area correct that we don't assume the person charged is guilty. But it's risible to suggest that we don't acknowledge that harm was done to the victim.

When harm is done to someone ( Fanone) an investigation is done, and if warranted, charges are brought and and a trial is held. That's how we do it in America and that's what is happening now.
