There's bound to be an i-node or two on the jury who will refuse to accept reality. I have a friend who recognizes reality, has been utterly aghast at Trump and his antics (since soon after he voted for him in 2016 as a Republican or Republican leaner). His reaction to the look on Chauvin's face in that ubiquitous photo made a vital impression. But, the shock of that having abated, he's been resurfacing his being-a-cop-is-tough-and-scary mode and maybe this is not as obvious as it looked at first glance. Too early to tell where he will end up. Which is why that article I posted yesterday about whose fear matters resonated with me. I passed it along to my friend. My point is that I don't think you'd have to be a wild Trump cultist to be disinclined to convict.
