Yes, I can see that, when everyone they encounter is potentially armed and dangerous, they are bound to be fearful and distrustful at first. But over 9 minutes he surely had time to calmly assess the situation, else your friend is basically arguing that because of that seeping fear cops are entitled to a licence to kill in any circumstance.

That's ridiculous. For every arrest that is somehow racially charged, there are hundreds that are not. I think you guys have developed this perception that there is a huge problem because the news media blows up one case -- the one where a Black person is killed by a White cop.

There seems to be a contingent who loves this kind of shit and I don't know why. It just creates division and can end in three ways: A finding that sends a white cop to prison, or a finding where Blacks think they're mistreated.

There is no interest in righteousness.

Just as Black people have been living in a theater where they "know" that they have to be really, really careful to avoid anything that might engage cops.

But every time the left presents us with their best example of police bias, it turns out to be a criminal being wildly reckless and aggressive towards police. Remember Ferguson? "Hands up don't shoot"? That turned out to be a criminal trying to steal a cop's gun.

So the facts point to the exact opposite of your opinion.
