Urine drug screen: presumptive positive for cannabinoids, amphetamines, and fentanyl/metabolite D. Urine drug screen confirmation: morphine (free) 86 ng/mL and, of course, this, which may or may not have been a material factor. The decedent was known to be positive for 2019-nCoV RNA on 4/3/2020. Given his clear drug-addled, agitated state to begin with, I cannot imagine a fair, unanimous jury concluding that he was killed by this officer. Could happen, but there would have to be a racist component present for that outcome.
