It is very circular. There are entire media organizations devoted to feeding fear, this fear is just one of several. Hating on Pelosi and giving her empire level powers is also part of it. At this point, the wingnut echo chamber is a self-sufficient money machine that is almost totally isolated from the rest of the universe. We see this often here and other places. Someone will throw out something like it is common knowledge, despite it being totally bonkers and disconnected from reality. Because in their world, it is common knowledge and needs no explaining. How do you bridge that kind of divide? When two groups cannot even agree as to what is fantasy and what is reality?
