It has nothing to with their statement, they view all dogs as evil because they eat meat and that in their narrow view contributes to global warming.

And more importantly, the most successful species are those that are most useful to most others. Those who object to the dogs' exploitation (I very much doubt the dogs agree with that) are sowing the seeds of their demise.
