Do you have rebroadcast phone number and code?? or a real audio site. I would like to listen to the tenor, myself. I had heard that KE's deliver was unusual. I did not see one on the company website, and emerald's was not exactly what I had in mind as a substitute.

Best,

The Duke.

RE:CC

Thank you for typing all of that out and posting it. Your fingers must be all stiff right now -- or do you have voice to text software?

I'll read this thing now.

Mike,

Thanks for your work in typing out the transcript. I missed the audio call & had been relying on second-hand reports.

For a company that is supposed to be a marketing whiz, that was an awkward, detail oriented conference call, that mentioned negative items as often as positive items. Though I think that, upon considered reflection, most people will consider the positive items of more importance and weight than the negative items, we all know that considered reflection is not the Street's long suit -g-.

It seems to me that, from the weight he gave it, KE was expecting the $100 million ad campaign announcement to be taken as a bold, positive step for Iomega. That didn't work too well.

Really, when you think about it, it takes a perverse talent to tank a company's stock upon announcement of a 77% increase in earning.

Simple thought exercise: Suppose Steve Jobs had given this conference call, with exactly the same facts to report. What do you think the stock would have done?
