You are right, diversification SHOULDN’T be the same as hedging, but most people do approach it in a similar way, maybe not explicitly. I am not saying you shouldn’t invest in countries like India and China if you find compelling companies there, just don’t restrict your hunt to those companies (which it seemed like you are doing when you listed the countries you are interested in). Just saying there are even more opportunities out there. - Bill
