Here comes trouble:
<snip>Wrong! Dispatches from the Front:
Cramer Welcomes Herb Greenberg to
TheStreet.com

By James J. Cramer
2/4/98 8:16 AM ET

We at TheStreet.com are dedicated to telling the truth and
exposing chicanery wherever it may rear its putrid head in
the investment world.

And, of course, we are driven to try to help you make
money. For that you need weapons in your arsenal that
exceed those of the miscreants and false prophets and
bogus promoters... But today we go nuclear.

Today TheStreet.com welcomes Herb Greenberg to the
ranks of its daily writers, a man who brings megatonnage to
our site both in his ceaseless digging and his boundless
energy to show both sides of the story.

I confess to being a closet Greenberg fanatic for years and
years... ...In Herb's columns we read the first chinks in the accounting
at 3COM. Herb explained the bear case of Iomega when
there wasn't supposed to be one. Herb exposed more
four-letter companies in a week than an investment bank
would in a decade. And he kept whole brokerage houses
honest; no mean task. He was, and is, one of a kind.

That's why when Herb announced he was ready for a change
I was determined to bring him to www.thestreet.com. He is
too good, performs too much of a public service, and is too,
well, big, to be just a SF Chron pass around or a footnote on
the Fed Filings. Here, read by virtually every major trader
and salesman at every major trading desk in the world, Herb
can make a huge difference in keeping The Street honest.
And you, our members, informed earlier than everyone else.

I welcome him to the site, starting next month, and wish him
and his family well in their big move east. I am proud to work
side by side with him on the site. He is the best Wall Street
reporter there is.<end snip>
