fiberman, thanks for watching prices. I think a certain rate of price decline is always there due to new tech, lower manuf costs, etc. At least we are not falling by the $10s of dollars anymore each time we look. Please keep on checking occasionally.

Thomas

Prices Still Down...

The proper way to think about disk drive stocks are as commodities. Prices are a proxy for earnings. This is how the Street handles Micron Technology, and that's how it's going to be in disk drives. There is no way costs are declining at the rate prices are falling. Watch disk drive prices and as soon as you see them turn up or stabilize, then that's the time to buy. Otherwise, it's just hoping.

I am out of WDC and QNTM. If you must buy a disk drive, buy IOM or EMC.
