Ok, let's use your average of 8000. It's also highly likely that many of them have been shareholders for a while and got screwed by a 30:1 rollback, announced after the fact by the company. Of course a 30:1 roll back will turn your 8000 shares into a little under 300. Let's say 2/3 of them were from before the rollback. That still gives you under 900K shares, not 3MM+.

A tennent of financial analysis is that you be conservative. I think it is reasonable to assume that the number is less than 12K each. Your suggestion of the average BB holding of 5K or 8K has merit. Ifthe number is too low well then everybody is better off. If it is too high (as I suspect 12K is) then stockholders are harmed. Why not play it safe and use a 5Kish number it is easier to support.

A factor not said is that it is likely that some of the known holders have more than one account and are in fact some of the unknown holders. Also people that are not active likely have a reason they have less. I think an average of 3-4K is more reasonable and even with numbers this low a squeeze can exist (albiet a smaller one).
