The context in which I see it... is one in which the State, as monarch, is not limited in its power, but is still limited, as all monarchs always are... by reality imposing limits in their ability to manage the economy and balance societies competing interests equitably... while keeping the wheels on the economic machine... growing the pie... improving lives while enabling "a rising tide that lifts all boats"... and otherwise avoiding events like those which befell the Romanov's in the early 1900's or the French in the late 1700's... That, of course, was the reason [ behind the massive tell ] exposed, recently, in the extraordinary panic that gripped D.C. when peaceful protesters descended on the capitol... in stark contrast to the state sponsored BLM/Antifa terrorist violence that had been imposed on the people throughout the prior year... intending to cow them into fearful submission... Billionaires are the new "liberal" aristocrats... who have arranged society and managed its affairs in ways that benefit them disproportionately... have done so quite deliberately... and the only deviation that represents from historical trends... is that the modern $ based aristocracy... unlike the legacy in the landed aristocracy... absolve themselves of having any responsibility for the serfs... or the consequences that their influence has on the rest of the society. But, while they do intend to ensure that the serfs stay serfs... they are ill equipped to sustain their corruptly myopic management... If you keep people as serfs... you have responsibility in caring for them... Better, of course, to disabuse the serfs of the idea that they are owned... to be looked after like farm animals.
