I do not in any way approve of the handling of Mr. Floyd by the police. It wasn't necessary and I can easily see how it contributed to his death.

But you can't just say, "The officer made him have a heart attack and is therefore responsible for his death."

I become anxious just looking at the way the man was held.

But he did put himself in that position. There has to be personal responsibility accounting somewhere.


You seem to be shifting a little. Now you're saying Chauvin contributed to Floyd's death.

As for personal responsibility accounting, Floyd is dead. Now it's Chauvin's personal responsibility that is being determined by a jury of his peers.
