There is no legitimate reason for due process not having been pursued to this point. I don't think you can claim that. Perhaps it's all over but just not announced. Perhaps they are bundling the case with other stuff from that day so the investigation is complex. Perhaps they are not formally charging yet because that would be a public document and the guy would have a bullseye on his back. Perhaps he's dead or seriously ill or otherwise out of pocket. Perhaps the resource shortage caused by all those "protesters" just hasn't been staffed yet given that it is less immediate. Lotsa routine possibilities.
