High resolution low latency zero cost virtual reality means remote pilots can drive cars and other things when the going gets too tricky for autonomous cars etc to handle situations themselves.

That's just one example.

Being able to view anywhere from anywhere, in 3D full reality is a great thing to be able to do.

Airliners won't have windows. They'll have multiple cameras for passengers to look anywhere in 3D high resolution. That makes airliners significantly lighter and stronger, as well as better for passengers.

Car's won't need windscreens. Or other windows.
