He obeyed the order to stick his hands outside the window. If he'd tried to unbuckle his seat belt to get out of the vehicle, he might've been shot dead.

Bill,
The cops were being dicks and giving confusing orders, but then he decided not to obey any of their orders.
The cops were being incredibly hostile. Yes, they are under an INSANE amount of stress these days thanks to the "Defund Police" movement, but it's clear that the guy they were trying to detail wasn't a threat. AFAIK, there was no warrant out for his arrest, and he didn't do anything on the road that threatened lives.

Firing these cops was justified.

Only problem is that the local stores in the area ought to brace themselves once again for "93% peaceful protesters" who want "reparations" like free flat-screen TVs.
