Nope. People were saying a year to 18 months. Because the testing and the ramping up is part of the whole deal. As we are seeing with the Johnson and Johnson and AstraZeneca vaccines, maybe some corners were cut on the testing.

Besides, Trump didn't create the vaccines. The Pfizer vaccine for example, wasn't even part of Operation Warp Speed. Even the ones that were, probably only the AstraZeneca one wouldn't have existed on a similar timetable. That one is the most speculative.

Trump created a vaccine

Was that the light vaccine or the disinfectant (bleach) vaccine?

I never thought it would take yrs to get a vaccine. But I know Trump had almost three months to get people vaccinated and he didn't ramp up anything. Except his whines over losing the election. And he did take time out to get secret vaccinations for himself and Melania.

The point is Trump created a vaccine in record time. As in, you assholes thought it was going to take years and it Trump got it done in 8 months. But it takes a little time to ramp up.

I would point out, however, it IS a ramp. As designed. He delivered on the vaccine. If he had still been in office the ramping would continued just as fast, perhaps faster. The bottleneck is how quickly you can produce it in volume.

The iPhone reference is a commentary on the fact that complex things don't go from zero to millions overnight. They are always ramped. You don't don't walk into the office one day and find a million vials of vaccine.

I think any honest scientist can explain that to you in a simple way that even a child can understand it.

I think you're lost in a mental fog and are flitting from topic to topic frantic to put a good face on Trump's complete dis-interest in the Trump Virus once he realized he'd lost the election. Let;s face it, Biden knows enough to know Covid is job #1.

That's just fantastic thinking. The technology that makes mRNA vaccines possible is three decades in the making. If the pandemic had hit just a few years ago we'd be in much worse shape now.
