Your post was totally fascinating to me, didjuneau! I was surprised that a scripture popped into your mind if you don't read the Bible. But still, the first thing I did was look up Revelation 2:12 in a couple of translations. I try to avoid theological discussions on this Thread, but I will say that the Book of Revelation is one my favorites to study. Right now in my weekly Bible Study, we are just beginning the Book of Kinds - which is the about King Solomon, David and Bathsheba's son, the man who built the first Temple to the Lord in Jerusalem. On you unemployment insurance, so glad your guardian angel was looking out for you. :)

Interesting post, it's fun when things like that happen, a tiny shift in perspective. There's a priest who wrote some books, Andrew Greeley, has God whisper in some characters ear as a recurring device. Sometimes heard, sometimes not, mostly drowned out by the thrashing about the character was involved in. Nice books. Easy books. Not unlike what a talented psychologist might do. I liked the idea.

At the end of the day "Nothing Happens By Coincidence". It may not be clear at the beginning why something happened, BUT after time and when one looks back after the outcome of the event, it becomes clear as to why it happened when it did because invariably it happened at the time when it was the best time for it to happen to someone. This is usually the case when one has IMPORTANT Life Questions that need answers. One puts the QUESTION out there and the ANSWER eventually comes at the right moment when it is best understood and often most useful.
