Defund the police - let the people experience lawlessness - and they’ll welcome a federal police force. Makes sense. During the late 1st century BC Romans saw so much violence and civil wars that when it became obvious that Octavian Augustus had established himself as an authoritarian ruler - they welcomed the change. Since back in the 80’s I realized that politicians will keep messing with healthcare until things become so bad, the public would be begging for socialist medicine.
