The dog and adult cat in the vid sure did act like they were best friends. The video was heartwarming. ;)

toleration isn't friendship.

Our new dachshund Sam tried his best to befriend our resident Siamese Tinker Bell but got rebuffed every single time. It was sheer drama to watch him bouncing playfully in front of her only to be swatted on the nose a few times in half a second. He'd run and hide under the couch with the most pitiful, sad look.

He never gave up trying, but his attempts got fewer and fewer over time. For Tinker Bell's part, as long as Sam didn't get near her, she didn't bother him.
