Thank you very much for your prompt response. Big move in Malaysia was not a total surprise, I was expecting more like 15-16% in line with Singapore. I agree with you it's not sustainable and more than likely due for a small correction. Fundamentals do not change overnight. I suspect US fund managers are now rushing back having unloaded their shares at a loss last year. Look at Thailand, Bangkok Bank has almost doubled in four weeks.

To me from here the best appreciation still appears to be in Malaysia. Korea and Thailand have already rallied a lot. Dr Mahatir IMO with his strong leadership will make sure their are no big economic disasters.

BTW what do you think of Genting . From what little I can find out this appears to be a well managed company and should do well in two or three years. I will appreciate any input.
