>>>What sort of woman would marry Norton??<<< One who changes her mind. Or comes to her senses, but too late; after the parthenogenecist's demonic semonic has landed. I doubt he can be married, so your assumptions are probably correct. He's a pretty darn good dad tho.

I don't know who Carleton the Doorman was ~ Rhoda must have been on during the "social" period of my life (after the Gilligan's Island period). But I too picture Nort as non-corporeal, or just non-real. Seriously. He is "like" and "imaginary friend", but he has a trailer and an address and my wife has seen him too.

And I realized, too late, that his daughter probably wasn't "laying" on the floor. (Is lying good?) But nary a single correction. Waht a sensitive group. MJ tells me about these things, but I'm covered with a non-stick coating.

Penni, since this was my first encounter with gummibears, I'm having trouble understanding their significance. Norton and my techie are close to the only people I'm comfortable leaving the house with, which is like once a fortnight. So the windows of opportunity for the universe to intercept me are pretty tiny, but debris keeps flying through there anyway. It feels like I live in an alternate universe. Might be all the prescriptions I take, but they don't explain my friends. Norton said something "distilling life for us in a distorted yet somehow meaningful manner" the other day, something nice to me; if I get time I'll write it down.
