Not for nothin but Citi tends to poo poo cetain deals and then double down. Luckily I bet agaist this prediction below. Probably the true chances for the ARM deal for NVDA are at least 50/50 or they would not have started down the road. That assumes a lot of promises from NVDA need to be made already though... will be interesting to see, but 10% at this point is just rubbish as they say in the UK.

Citi analyst Christopher Danely (Neutral, $107.50 price target) says the deal would be accretive to AMD's low margins, but he doesn't think Xilinx management will agree to an acquisition due to the company's dominant position in the high-margin programmable logic device market.
