Hi Quinn

I said this a while ago, but I think one of the problems with PFG is that management believes they can do it all. I agree with you that the $$$ spent on roadshows could have been put to better use with professionals (or even collecting interest somewhere until the market was more receptive and they had additional results to flog)

Quinn, I'm starting to wonder if PFG management is all that concerned with share price. Maybe they've concluded that its a bad market and trying to get the price to move is like pushing a string. So they are spending their time trying to build the company & when the market finally wakes up..we'll have something for it to look at. In truth looking at other stocks, nothing seems to help. Good drill results are sluffed off, property acquisitions are discounted, cash in the bank (if present) means little, & assets in the ground are assumed to stay there forever etc.

When you think of the 100,000,000oz ag @ Diablillos and the fact that each ounce is worth $2.11 more than when the resource was calculated last year it would seem that we should have gotten a little bump. Guess again! Very discouraging.

Regards, Dave

Quinn. The impression I get from management is they are more concerned about building a solid company than the day to day fluctuations in the stock price. In todays climate where "cash is king", they are being very frugal with our money. They have to ask themselves if a big PR push right now would be beneficial to the longer term shareholder. My read is the answer is no. The market is in the pits and will only get excited on the plus side by MAJOR positive changes in a companies position. Look at all of the good releases (SJD being one) which have been received with a snooze or negative response. The price of silver is a plus but PFG has only been touting Diablillos as a silver play for a very short time. Then you have the big decision we are expecting sometime this spring. The major players know about this and are waiting on the sidelines until the announcement.

I have been a shareholder for many years and am in this for the long haul. Tom Shrake and his crew are SERIOUS minefinders. This means they are thorough and calculated. To us this may seem slow and plodding. They are very different than most exploration companies which go for the quick buck based on promoting moose pasture.

Upper management's true test will come if Barrick decides to give the property back. At that point, they will have a major silver deposit to market. Go back to post 8170. This was a share price calculation Shirley did when gold was $284.80 and silver was $5.785. With a 30% ownership of Diablillos, PFG would be worth $8.39 a share. With 100% ownership, PFG would be worth $27.97 a share. These figures are somewhat high in that they do not account for mining expenses but they also do not include the cash in hand or any other premium for prospective properties.

IF you believe in management. IF you believe in the exploration expertise. IF you believe in the properties. And they have money. Then this is the time to be picking up stock. I am what you call a true believer. I will make money selling my shares of PFG at much higher levels. The only unknown is when.

Best of Luck

Ross

Quinn:

You might find this piece on Silver of some interest, it kind of gives
an idea as to what the worth of Diablillos might be with Silver prices
soaring. gold-eagle.com
