Most (if not all) the downgrades are done to let their clients buy and upgrades to sell. I have lost trust in the financial analysts in the Wall Street. There is a strong negative correlation between analysts' ratings and the long-run stock price performance. One of the stocks rated super buy was CTYS that dropped from $36 to 3/4. BTW, where is that downgrade information released?
