$sppi PRed in March that their South Korean plant inspection is scheduled for May (they were notified of the delay by the FDA in Oct 2020). So there must still be quite a backlog.

Other factors that may or may not influence when $rvnc gets inspected:

I am not sure, but I think the $sppi drug is for cancer. As you pointed out the FDA may prioritize COVID, cancer etc over botox

"In December, Revance also entered into an amended supply agreement with Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services for the supply of DaxibotulinumtoxinA for Injection, which will complement its Northern California-based manufacturing location with a second Southern California-based location."

So possible both plants have to be inspected (instead of one now and one later)

…RVNC’s product, a new form of Botox designed to last longer than the current treatment for wrinkles…
Nitpick: RVNC’s Daxi is a new formulation of botulinum toxin. (Botox is a brand name.)

Vaccine maker Emergent's CEO sold $10 million in stock before company ruined Johnson & Johnson doses - The Washington Post

This is why the inspection of production facilities must be done---how many times can this CEO get away with the deception and basically scamming investors with his inside trading(dumping). Once is enough, but this company has multiple cases where they put patient's lives in danger. Ricin, and this company was providing doses of faulty manufactured medicine. Regular investors have seen their stock drop by 50% while the CEO was dumping! Great!!!

With the pandemic basically closing the FDA operations, then you factor in that nearly 85% of our drugs use drug ingredients that are manufactured in China and India---who in their right mind would want the assignment to fly into India and inspected their facilities?
