Yeah, I like Kevins guidance better too, but the thing that bugs me is when they guided full year at +37% they also guided Q1 at 3.2B which implies nearly flat QoQ growth for the rest of the year.

I'm concerned we see a nice blowout in Q1, since the tea leaves suggest that, but than guidance indicates its pretty flat for the rest of the year. If that happens, the stock is going to tank...

AMD 2021-Q1 EPS Contest (non-GAAP) — Results

Q2 outlook: $3.60B ± 0.10B revenue

1rzborusa$0.52$3.33B$3.43B
2gvatty$0.51$3.35B$3.50B
3Joe NYC$0.54$3.35B$3.45B
4Vattila$0.50$3.30B$3.40B
5engineer$0.50$3.28B$3.51B
6Kelvin C.P. Wang$0.55$3.40B$3.60B
7neolib$0.56$3.40B$3.47B
8Pravin Kamdar$0.48$3.25B$3.55B
- Zacks Estimate$0.44$3.21B$3.28B

We all thoroughly beat Zacks! Well done! Congratulations to Rzborusa for hitting bulls-eye on the EPS! Kelvin and Neolib were closest on the revenue, and Kelvin also hit bulls-eye on the outlook! I said I liked it, and we got it! Great! And what a full-year revenue forecast: 50% growth predicted, upped from 37%. Just amazing!

Earnings were flat despite 6% revenue growth and 1pp gross margin increase quarter-on-quarter, due to a 5% increase in operating expenses. Without those presumably unforeseen increases, then Joe, Kelvin or Neolib would have had the winning entry. Neolib gets accolades for great analysis!

I am looking forward to next quarter's contest already!

PS. Interesting that Neolib and Pravin should both end up at the bottom of the table, with their divergent predictions. You two need to come to consensus! :-)
