Birth of a Nation, baby! Here's a clip from the renamed DW Griffith movie ( formerly The Klansman ), the first full length motion picture made here. In it, you see the heroic Christian knights of the KKK, attack a group of darkies and darkie-sympathizers, who have apparently kidnapped and tied up a virtuous white woman! The valiant knights get driven back at first, but come back and save the day! Then, they continue saving white people threatened by an army of darkies!
