my cluelessness in this area duly noted. I did many years ago work for a money center bank who made a string of poor acquisitions one after another. When i worked for banks they were all run by autocrats, and if you were not a yes man you did not last long in a senior position. every acquisition that the autocrat wanted to do was duly vetted of course as no one dared to suggest this or that acquisition was not a good idea .I have no understanding why anyone in their right mind in this day and age would buy a brick and mortar bank. l am within a mile of 4 banks three national , one local. all have atm machines. the only one that had a safe deposit box large enough for my needs did get my business though. The only reason I ever step foot in the bank is to go to the safe deposit box. deposits are photoed and sent in via cell phone or transferred in directly.
I get my cash from local grocery store usually.

OT went shopping at my new favorite apparel store Ross. Store was packed and checkout lines were long.
Macerich showing life today.. Holding onto my large position.

Having sold the last of my shares of CZBS at ~ $14.00 --- I've decided to revisit and begin scaling back into this grossly undervalued - but probably poorly managed - bank.

The only two banks in this group that I'm currently holding is ALBY and UNTN

I recently trimmed my position in ALBY. It's a great bank but
unsure how things will pan out going forward given the city's concentration of health care workers. The also have a substantial amount of fed employees.

UNTN - underwater on this one, but confident it will turn around.
