*AV*-- Yes I did but I did not participate in all of the 6.5 point run up. Remember, as we were discussing this , CDO options were also rising in price. Don't feel too bad since you know I made out like a bandit. Low 2s to you know where now. Actually, I am going to dump these puppies tomorrow and rectify a slight mistake. What mistake, you might ask?? Well is it UTEK vs ASMLF? ALYD vs CSGI? TDFX vs DIMD? APM vs RDRT? WDC vs SEG? PLAB vs DPMI? Well, it was PLAB vs DPMI. My reasons for liking PLAB over DPMI did not preclude me from owning a chunk of DPMI. However, by share volume, it was close to 3 parts PLAB to 1 part DPMI. DPMI was not given a higer % because of its Asian (Korean) exposure. Well, DPMI shoot up more than $6 today and was liquidated just at the close. This was a killer move today and a good run over the past month. Unfortunately, I backed the wrong horse (percentage wise) at the time but I do have a chance to recover. The PLAB shares were bought in the low 20s and now we have punched through 25. Time to do the old switcheroo and see if I can get on the PLAB run up which HAS TO HAPPEN (PLEEEEEEEZ!!!). So, good by (and BUY) CDO options and DPMI shares. Time to take the profits and roll them into PLAB and wait for its pop. Each has been profitable but a 1:3 reverse position would have been extra killer. OH WELL. BTW-for what its worth, A broker buddy of mine has me on a short leash for technology enablers. He has been playing the top 5 successfully. The list included IPEC, PLAB, ASYT, CYMI, AMAT. HE has made his objectives on AMAT, ASYT and CYMI and is poised to take the other two for a ride. Andrew
