Borusa, A single shot to the abdomen would sure stop me. You're not the type to be high on drugs and threatening officers with a knife. I'm also guessing that you aren't the "gentle giant" type who "peacefully" resists arrest or "peacefully" lunges at officers trying to stab them or grab their pistol from their holster. There are MANY examples of targets who continue to be deadly threats even after receiving lethal shots. Here's one example of a gun-wielding perp who is still in the fight even after getting paralyzed by a bullet: YouTube - This is Why You Shoot Until the Threat Stops And here's an example of a knife-wielding perp who was shot MULTIPLE times, yet still was able to close the distance with an officer even AFTERWARDS. YouTube - Police bodycam video shows knife-wielding man charge and attacks officer after being shot (Both videos are age-restricted, so they can't be embedded. Instead, I provided direct links.) But please, tell us that you would have done better than those two cops, that you would have just downed the suspect with one shot to the abdomen, and that you would have saved the suspect's life in the process. Because you wouldn't be the only Internet "expert" who knows how to do a cop's job better than the cops themselves. Tenchusatsu
