Hi George, I sure agree with your comments regarding the "insane babble" on some of the SI threads. If you think CPQ is bad, try IOM's thread. Well, it seems that this thread will probably go away after the merger is finalized. Are you going to keep you CPQ shares? (Assuming that you have DEC shares that will be converted.) If you keep your shares, I look forward to seeing you on the CPQ thread. Its been a pleasure having you on the DEC thread. You posting have always been very informative and useful. Stock Bull

nice to see I am not alone thinking that there was too much bs on the CPQ thread. would not bother posting anything there George, they are on their own roll about now. hopefully they settle down. I have only waded thru the 100's per day posts for the past week and some info is really good but to sift and sift..takes forever. I also like the idea of a DECompaq thread for those who were here..maybe it will take?? or since compaq is the acquirer, maybe a COMDEC board..ha! my guess is that the deal will not finalize till late in the second quarter so we are alive till then...nice move today..hope it keeps rising!! just like Stock Bull, I have appreciated your comments back to the days of Prodigy!!!! you never knew....:)

I think CPQ is the buy now that they are getting DEC at this price. I was waiting to wait for the merger to complete to make sure and to get money to buy more CPQ since we only get 1/2 in shares. But I think the train may be leaving the station and it may be better to buy CPQ on the come and hope the deal closes and we get the cash to pay. Do I sound nervous? Rich
