WSJ Article of general interest -

The middle section of the front page of the WSJ contains an article on the rigors imposed on OTR trucking partners as they struggle to meet just-in-time inventory orders. Their progress is tracked by their employer using GPS. Does Wal-Mart track all its trucks using GPS?

"Average delivery times for U.S. freight are expected to drop more than 25% between 1994 and 2000, according to an Ohio State University study."

It appears that just-in-time inventory may require GPS for all modes of transportation.

P.S. I like the new spell checker, but when you hit the "Back" button to edit your work is disappears.
