Ok Christine. Thanks for humbling me.

I was writing my FIRST poem.(I'm sure I wrote some in school but don't remember any). I was using my my third grade son's homework guidelines for a cequain? poem.

Actually, the internet was very helpful in that Peter took incomplete notes and did not know the "rules" for the third line. A quick yahoo search found rules and examples lickity split!!

Tom.

"...and we carry each
other around in our minds
too many voices talking in there
seductive, reductive, inductive,
addictive but is it truly
productive, this Forum?"

Productivity is the key
Output_gredient of the body
Which demands to be fed
And to feed and to need
All those things... Yet
Now into this odd space
As divorced from bodies
As bodies can be from mine_d
Minds arriving/departing key
Stroking_ Throwing out mere
shadows of the productivity
Life being played else-where
This place is a parallel
semi-world internet semi-
Conductive.. A dream island
that is only visitors, its
like FAT, a hospice of nodes
Productive, yes, as is thinking
out loud within a theater
with the movie playing

Court Turns
Tucker Down
The U.S. Supreme Court has refused
to block the execution of Karla Faye
Tucker. Unless Texas Governor
George W. Bush unexpectedly
intervenes, the 38-year-old pickax
killer tonight will become the first woman executed in
Texas since the Civil War.
