That's a reasonable article about motivations and the interface between Big Brother and the serfs in regard to bitcoin.

But bitcoin as art is a stretch too far.

I guess the writer is a lawyer by their use of the word "affirmative". Lawyers are about political fights over property, not about inventing the future from thin air, or even more arcane will o the wisp, thinner than thin air = from the aether, using the four forces of the apocalypse and the derived laws of physics.

So the article was blather over politics and self-reporting, orcs putting heads on pikes and such medievil actions by states getting their paws on megatons of opm. Not even the related artificial intelligence onrushing reality which will supersede temporal politics.
