Paul, thanks. 'Mighty AMD' gave me a little scare there for a minute though, besides you can't discount the power of IBM when it comes to PCs,I mean how can one forget the grand debut of PCjr and the havoc it created in the market place.<<VBG>>

Paul,
On the subject of IBM using Pentiums, can you explain this.
Why is IBM not using its PowerPC chips in any of its PCs ?
Why would they manufacture a PC processor and market it only to
Apple and continue to use Intel's and AMD's processors for their PCs like the Aptiva ?
Is it that their PowerPC architecture is completely incompatible with
Windows or something like that ?

Regards
Ramesh

Paul, maybe being too enchanted with AMD has evaporated.
