It smells a lot like flame bait around here, but I'll respond anyway. Could you explain why ARQL's stochastic optimization procedure is "poor science," while PCOP's is "interesting?"

I would imagine quite a bit of "properly directed hard work," and yes, even "thinking," went into designing their procedures.
