>> I don't buy the notion that researchers are seeking to find excuses for demanding masks

Ten,

Over the last 1 year plus I have watched the corruption of numerous professionals by personal politics beliefs. I see someone like you, who clearly understands the concepts of the science, buy into hand baked ideas day after day.

Anthony Fauci himself has inexplicably changed his position on masks a half seized times while not one bit of new controversial science has appeared on the landscape. It is insane but yes, it is happening.

I think people ought to weigh the evidence and not their intuition. At first, I believed masks made sense, too. But the inconsistency of Fauci, combined with the obvious unwillingness to perform proper studies of HCQ, forced me to start reading the science.

Wear a mask if you think it is the right thing for you. And you’ll be obedient to this lunatic of a president we have as well. I’ve been done it’s masks for months although I occasionally put on an N95 to be compliant.

But if you care about the science, you ought to read it. There are studies going back decades on this topic and nothing has changed: Other than respirators (N/KN95) there simply isn’t evidence it is useful. There are plenty of people opining, for sure.
