Yes, I generalize, based on demographics, facts, and that is exactly what Flynn was talking about in his comments on the ability to think in terms of universality that differentiates us from our grand parents..

There is demographic facts behind my generalizations e.g comparing Oregon's senators to any two senators in any red state, or pretty much any Democratic senator to any Republican senator.

IMO, the worst Democratic senator is better than the best Republican senator and that is base on voting records..

For me, living in a progressive state beats the hell out of living in a conservative state.

You just love to generalize about states and populations. I've lived in several states and spent a
good deal of time in many others. I'd have to say every place I've been has had its share of less
than desirable counties and also some really nice places. Looking at the 2020 presidential
election map of Oregon, I'd say.. no exception there...
