Thread: ONE OF KARLA"S LAST LETTERS The lawyers mainly spent there time on getting Karla's sentence commuted...she didn't right before she died Karla writes this 3 page letter to warden and prison officials on inmates should pay their room, board and clothes. and in return system to teach the inmates the work ethics. seems other states have figured out how to do this already. I'll repeat from being involved frist hand on this system at the wynne,walls,ramsey units in Texas... the warden doesn't rehab, the guards don't rehab, the prison officials, the legislator , the governor , and the parole board don't rehab... KARLA did more rehabing with inmates thatn all those put toegther... Her reward was prettygood to... the chaplains at these units also rehab. Somedays I would swap places with her (if I had to tell the truth). Nothing on this earth compares to where she is now.
