Where is your empathy?

You are lucky enough I am sure, that you never have to worry about money. Good for you.

But think of the 10's of millions of poor people in this country e.g. a single mother with two kids working at $7.25 an hour who has to worry every single day how she is going to buy her kids new shoes, or pay the light bill, or give her kid lunch money, or take them to the doctor when sick, or dentist when they have a tooth ache.

She worries about money every single day and often works several jobs.

A $15 minimum wage barely pulls these people our of abject poverty, to just living in poverty.

$7.25 is a starvation wage and all the Democrats want to do is take it to a survival wage!

This country can well afford a $15 minimum wage and it would pull around 40 million people out of abject poverty which is shameful for a rich country like ours.

All Biden and the Democrats are trying to do is bring this country up to the level most other western nations already are at.

We should be ashamed at our poverty level, and income inequality, when five families have nearly as much wealth as the bottom 50% of the nation.

Whether you like it or not, the Democrats as a party are going to stick to the $15 and rightfully so IMO.

"Baloney, it is pretty much the entire Democratic party that wants $15 now...No one got suckered"
Then it's pretty much the entire party that is being stupid, isn't it? But, OK, you can even call the DNC and ask them for their list of states which have raised wages $2/hr/year; I'll wait.
