We have examples of this playing out across the country. Walmart paid $7.25 for a very long time. Everyone in retail followed Walmart to the bottom. After a while it stopped working. Even their workers couldn't afford to buy anything other than food so they raised wages and their sales went up. They raised wages again and sales went up. Target and other retailers have to compete for workers so they raised their wages and their sales went up. So did their profits.

When we talk about wage increases over the past few years we have to look at monster companies that exist in almost every city in the country. They made wages go up, not Trump or his buddies who kneel at the alter of socialism for the rich.
