There are those incidents. I have friends in India as well, and they are being hit incredibly hard for sure.

My nephew and his wife had it and they're in their mid 40s. He was hit hard and felt sick for a good 2-3 weeks, but they have a second house on the lake and he just moved over there for three weeks. And their kids are high school aged, and when she came down with it, she moved over there with him. The two boys never got it, but I don't really know how much exposure they had.

My grandkids (3 & 4) go to a private preschool here in Houston. The school was on top of things, and I think they shut down for a couple weeks and that was it. But they kept parents up to date. I remember one scare over a possible covid case last year, and there was one this year -- but neither ever materialized.

I don't know much about this stuff so whatever happens will be news to me.

The India situation, I expect, will get much worse before it gets any better, sadly.

How did that compare to the reactions to your first Pfizer dose?

I felt nothing after my first dose and will have my 2nd injection on Monday ...

I'm waiting for my second Pfizer shot, the first was no big deal, I've heard the second might be a little worse but I'm getting it anyway.
