curious I didn't read anything about those Asian attacks in the local news, not to say they didn't happen, before Hong Kong was turned over to China there was a huge influx of Chinese and their money, my best friend who ran a construction Company built houses for wealthy clients saw huge growth in his business. Chinese money has made the Vancouver housing market out of reach for most of the middle class, it is worse today, Our Local Chinatown is close to skid row where the drug users and alcoholics hang out, also years ago the Government closed most of the institutions for the mentally impaired so now we have them wandering about along with the homeless, I never go to downtown Vancouver anymore, the traffic is also nuts, we get lots of riff raff from other parts of Canada because of our warmer winters.
