>>What is their problem? Getting too big?<<

The problem is that they most likely have a high-powered designer orchestrating these changes who doesn't want the "unknowing" public interfering with creativity. Media companies always have high-powered graphics designers!

Your suggestions are good ones, especially about using different colored arrows for up/down price changes. The way it is now is very confusing and impossible to distinguish. Wouldn't it be nice if they actually listened -- for a change?

Martin-- Would you (or someone else) please post on this thread when CNBC dumps the annoying graphics? Normally, I have CNBC running in the background, watch for a couple of minutes periodically. As of Wednesday, the TV is off. I refuse to give in to the foolishness of their new displays. I want (demand?) information. And these folks have decided that form exceeds function. Wrong. My one-man boycott has begun. Regards, Paul
